Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCABA) Practice Exam

Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCABA) Practice Exam

The Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst® (BCaBA®) certification is designed for individuals at the undergraduate level who specialize in behavior analysis. Professionals holding BCaBA certification offer behavior-analytic services while being supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst® (BCBA®). BCaBAs are not permitted to provide behavior-analytic services independently and must work under the supervision of a BCBA. They are authorized to supervise Registered Behavior Technician® (RBT®) certificants and may also fulfill the duties of an RBT.

Reasons for Pursuing BCaBA certification:

  • BCaBA certification is the premier assistant behavior analyst credential and is often mandatory for various funding agencies and licensure boards. The BACB, the first certifying body in behavior analysis with over 20 years of experience, grants BCaBA certification.
  • BCaBA certification signifies that individuals have fulfilled specific requirements essential for delivering behavior-analytic services under BCBA supervision.
  • BCaBA certification enhances consumer protection as it necessitates meeting eligibility and maintenance criteria for certification acquisition and retention.
  • BCaBA certification simplifies the verification process for employers, funders, consumers, and others, confirming the possession of requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as ensuring the absence of disciplinary actions.
