There are no formal prerequisites for taking the NISM Investment Adviser Level 2 exam. However, a foundational understanding of financial instruments, investment principles, and the Indian securities market would be beneficial.

  • Understanding client investment objectives, risk tolerance, and financial situation.
  • Recommending suitable investment products based on client profiles.
  • Developing and implementing personalized investment strategies.
  • Monitoring client portfolios and providing ongoing investment advice.
  • Ensuring adherence to ethical guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Exam Details

  • Exam Format: Multiple-choice questions (6 caselets with 5 sub-questions each and 90 individual questions)
  • Duration: 3 hours
  • Passing Score: Minimum 60% of the total marks (with negative marking for incorrect answers)
