The CIS-Service Mapping exam validates that candidates possess the necessary skills and knowledge to configure, manage, deploy, and uphold the Service Mapping application within the ServiceNow framework.
Those eligible to take the ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Service Mapping exam include ServiceNow customers, partners, employees, and individuals aspiring to become ServiceNow Implementers or Administrators.
Candidates should have a minimum of six months of practical experience in the field and/or involvement in at least two ITOM deployments, with a focus on Service Mapping. They should also possess a basic understanding of industry jargon, abbreviations, and acronyms. Additionally, candidates are expected to demonstrate intermediate to advanced proficiency in both Windows and Unix administration.
Prior completion of specific ServiceNow training courses is recommended to adequately prepare for the Service Mapping exam. These training courses, such as "Welcome to ServiceNow," "ServiceNow Administration Fundamentals," "ServiceNow Platform Implementation," and "CMDB Fundamentals," furnish the foundational understanding essential for success in the exam.
