The Microsoft SC-900 Beta exam fees is $99 USD,

The Microsoft SC-900 exam covers the following topics -

• Describe the concepts of security, compliance, and identity (5-10%);
• Describe the capabilities of Microsoft identity and access management solutions (25-30%);
• Describe the capabilities of Microsoft security solutions (30-35%);
• Describe the capabilities of Microsoft compliance solutions (25-30%)

The Microsoft Exam SC-900 measures your ability to describe concepts including security, compliance, and identity; capabilities of Microsoft identity and access management solutions; capabilities of Microsoft security solutions; and capabilities of Microsoft compliance solutions.

When you complete a beta exam, you do not receive a score immediately because the scoring model for the exam is not yet finalized.

You usually receive your exam score within 2-3 weeks after the exam becomes available worldwide—this can be up to 16 weeks after you take the exam, depending on when in the beta period you took the exam.

Passing a beta exam in your certification path counts toward your certification. You do not need to retake the exam in its final version.

Microsoft beta exams are offered at an 80% discount (code required). Candidates who take advantage of the 80% discount to take the beta exam receive a 25% discount on their next exam after rescoring is complete. (Not eligible for all candidates)

The candidates will have access to the Exam Details page that lists the skills that will be assessed on the exam. Even though the goal is to ensure that some training exists prior to the launch of a beta exam, it is not always possible . Also, candidates interested in beta exams usually have access to other resources, are experienced with the technology, or work with the beta product. It is suggested to consult peers, community resources, and early-adopter articles for support if you need additional preparation materials.

Approximately 400 people can take the beta exam at a reduced rate. To take advantage of this reduced rate, you need a beta code that must be entered as part of your payment during registration.

If you do not pass the beta exam, you cannot retake the beta exam. If you are interested in earning a certification that requires successful completion of that exam, you must wait to retake the exam at regular cost when it’s live, or you can apply the 25% discount that you received for taking the beta exam through the beta exam discount program.
